Tuggle Seller Interviews – Promote your shop

We are composing a new section of the site designed at promoting your goods and the person behind them!

If you would like to feature all you need to do is copy and paste these questions, fill them out and email the answers back.

Please supply photos if you can, of you, your craft, you working, your family etc. Whatever you think will make the feature more interesting.

This feature will have a link from the home page.

All completed interviews will be showcased.

Hi, Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, Where in the world are you,whats your name, age, children?
Who or what was your inspiration to pursue your craft?
Be a bit more specific about your craft, whats the process, what exactly do you use etc? (photo?)

We have had some wonderful ideas.

Here are a selection, what do you think?

• friends & family special days for the customers with email notifications when a special day is coming up.
•  A sellers I Love,  Items I love & things I want people to buy me feature
• A section “me with my tuggle thing” – photos of people with their tuggle purchases
• 50 Cute Items, 50 newest items, 50 sale items.
• a feedback system

These are all fab ideas and have been added to the drawing board – More, More, More!

The Most Excting Update so Far…

Well I am very pleased to announce that we have begun discussions for developing a completely NEW Tuggle Site.

Dont panic the existing one will remain in place!

The NEW site is being built around a brand new program that is very exciting.

The NEW site will launch in celebration of our 2nd Birthday later in the year and we would love to hear all your ideas for what YOU would like to on the site.

We will take ALL ideas on board and keep you updated with what has been decided.

The sellers admin areas will all be replaced with the new program that means you will manage your sections within the main Tuggle site online.

You will be able to simply create your own drop down menus and a good suggestion from Charming Gems was to introduce a “Sell Similar Button”.

So lets hear your ideas!

The browse by seller category is being updated and will be displayed by thumbnails 100px X 100px.

If you would like a logo displaying please email a square image to salesdesk@tuggle.co.uk.

Where images are not sent we will use a product image.

There is no deadline and images can be submitted / changed at any time.

The first of our Mother’s Day promos has gone out with a general mix of suitable products.

There is going to be a very active newsletter campaign for this “Day” so please be reminded that the products chosen are those that are deemed to have the best promotional images.

Help I Lost My Product From My Admin!?

This is a very FAQ question and something well worth mentioning on here.

When you have added a new item and it is showing on the site but it is not in your admin then please follow these steps.

• In your admin area click ‘Catalog’ on the top left hand side.
• The screen will change and you will see in the very top right hand section of the screen is a search box.
• In this search box type the title (or part of the title) of the missing item and click return on yoru keyboard.
• The page will change and you will now see a page of results of items that match your title.
• Click on your item and click edit.
• You will now be taken through to the original listing page.
• In the first box titles ‘Categories’ you must go back in and highlight your seller name. Remember to hold down control or you will loose your previously selected categories, Or the apple key if you are a mac user.
• Click save and the item will be returned to your admin folder.

This really shows the importance of highlighting your seller name when adding a new item.
